Miracles
...We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life.

In our arms!
Our already-in-our-hearts boy
Once There Were Two Women
Once there were two women who never knew each other
One you do not remember, the other you call Mother
Two different lives shaped to make yours one.
One became your guiding star; the other became you sun.
The first gave you life; the second taught you how to live it.
The first gave you a need for love; the second was there to give it.
One gave you a nationality; the other gave you a name.
One gave you the seed of talent; the other gave you an aim.
One gave you up; it was all she could do.
The other prayed for a child and was led straight to you.
And now you ask me through your tears,
The age old question through the years,
Heredity or environment, which are you a product of?
Neither my darling, just two different kinds of love.

Pronunciation
Many have asked, how to correctly pronounce Ahn-Bao's name:
Ahn = "on" as in
"Rock-a-bye baby, on the tree top"
Bao = "bough" as in"When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall"

There is a little one waiting
There is a mom
and dad waiting
The little one knows what is
The parents know what should

And when 'what is' and 'what should be' become the same, There will be a

What an absolute doll Ahn Bao is! It's so cool to see in the pictures how at ease he is with you already. I'm so happy for you! Thanks for uploading more pictures too. It's so fun to 'be' on this trip with you :)
I love the picture where he is pointing to the camera. I think he's saying "I pick you to be my family". I'm so in love with him already.
Please give Ahn-Bao's adorable cheeks a kiss from me! I can see why you are having trouble tearing yourself away from him to blog. Thanks for taking time to share with us though. Enjoy this time together.
